Midpoint Formula
About:
Additional Resources:
In this lesson, we learn how to find the midpoint of a line segment. The midpoint formula is used to find the coordinates of the midpoint of a line segment. The x-coordinate of the midpoint will be found as the average of the two x-coordinates for our endpoints. The y-coordinate of the midpoint will be found as the average of the two y-coordinates for our endpoints. M = ((x1 + x2)/(2), (y1 + y2)/(2))
