About Subtraction:
We can easily subtract single-digit whole numbers without the use of a pencil and paper. When we start subtracting multi-digit whole numbers, it becomes more difficult to perform the operation in one’s head. Generally, we subtract multi-digit whole numbers using a process known as vertical subtraction.
