About Coordinate Plane:

The rectangular coordinate plane, which is also known as the Cartesian coordinate plane is made up of two perpendicular number lines. The horizontal number line represents the x-axis and the vertical number line represents the y-axis. We will encounter problems that involve the quadrants of a coordinate plane, and how to graph points (ordered pairs) on the coordinate plane.

Test Objectives
  • Demonstrate the ability to plot an ordered pair on the coordinate plane
  • Demonstrate the ability to determine the quadrant of a given ordered pair
