The Binomial Theorem

In this lesson, we will learn about factorial notation, the binomial theorem, and how to find the kth term of a binomial expansion. We will first learn about the factorial notation. The factorial notation is the exclamation mark. We will see this exclamation mark "!" directly after the given number. For example, 3! is read as "three factorial". This tells us to find the product of: 3 x 2 x 1 = 6. In other words, we would multiply all of the whole numbers from our given number down to a whole number of 1. Additionally, we will learn about the binomial theorem. The binomial theorem gives us a way to quickly expand certain binomials raised to a natural number.
