Inverse of an Exponential / Logarithmic Function

About:
Additional Resources:

In this lesson, we will continue to learn about exponential and logarithmic functions. Here, we will focus on special properties of logarithmic and exponential expressions. We will show how to prove these special properties using function composition. We will then learn how to find the inverse of an exponential function: f(x) = ax, where a is greater than zero and a is not equal to 1. Lastly, we will look at how to find the inverse of a logarithmic function: f(x) = loga(x), where a is greater than zero, a is not equal to 1, and x is greater than zero.
