About Graphing Systems of Inequalities:

When we look at a system of linear inequalities, our goal is to find the area of the coordinate plane that satisfies both inequalities. We solve each inequality separately, then look for the section of overlap on the coordinate plane. This region will satisfy both inequalities and be the solution for our system.

Test Objectives
  • Demonstrate the ability to graph a linear inequality in two variables
  • Demonstrate the ability to find the overlap between two graphs on the coordinate plane
  • Demonstrate the ability to graph a system of linear inequalities in two variables
