Multiplying Polynomials

In this section, we continue to learn about operations with polynomials. Here we will learn how to Multiply Polynomials. We begin with the simple scenario of multiplying a monomial (polynomial with one term) by another polynomial. In this case, we multiply the monomial by each term of the other polynomial to get our answer. A more complex scenario arises when we multiply two polynomials together and none are monomials. For this situation, we multiply each term of the first polynomial by each term of the second polynomial. In each scenario, we must simplify and combine like terms before we report our final answer.
