Properties of Division Test

When we perform division with whole numbers such as: 6 ÷ 2, we are asking how many groups of two can be made from the number six. The answer is three. One simple way to see this is to subtract groups of two away from six, until we hit the number zero. We can do this exactly three times.

Test Objectives:

•Demonstrate the ability to identify the parts of a division problem

•Demonstrate the ability to divide with single digit whole numbers

•Demonstrate an understanding of division with zero and one
